Battersea Park Fireworks
An award-winning fireworks display at a supremely popular ticketed event, 50,000 people will be heading to Battersea Park to get their fix of Bonfire Night fireworks in London this year. The spectacular show lasts over 22 minutes. This year, there’s a fireworks afterparty too, held within the park until 1am. Keep things popping with live music, bars and street food. Standard tickets for the fireworks (with entry to the afterparty included) are £10, plus a booking fee. Children aged 10 and under go free but must have a ticket. Saturday 2nd November 2019. Gates open at 18.00, bonfire lit at 19.30 and fireworks start at 20.00
Bonfire Night Cruise
One of the more unique ways of enjoying Bonfire Night fireworks in London this year. Run by City Cruises (who run the classic Thames River Boat Cruise, available free with your London Pass) this special fireworks night event includes a 2 hour cruise from Westminster Pier, down the Thames and back again. There’ll be canapés and sparkling wine served, a live singer adding to the atmosphere and fantastic views of the Battersea Park fireworks. Saturday 2nd November 2019. Coram’s Fields Fireworks Night
Get ready for a fantastic display at Coram’s Fields, a unique seven acre open space right in the centre of London. It’s free, but you can pay around a tenner for access to a premium viewing area, which means you can beat the crowds and be sure of a great view. This bonfire night fireworks display is run by Coram’s Fields, a children and young people’s charity. It’s family-oriented as a result. Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival
Now this is a big one. If you’re looking for big bangs and tons of extracurricular entertainment (stuff to do that isn’t oohing and ahhing at fireworks) then this is the event for you. It’s one of the most popular places to watch Bonfire Night fireworks in London; it’s so popular, in fact, that they’re holding the event across two consecutive evenings this year. There’ll be a big old bonfire flaming away, a world class fireworks display, a German bier festival, a family area with heaps of rides and stalls, and a cinema playing family-friendly films early in the evening, then more adult flicks later on. Oh, and ice skating. And a laser show. And street food. Tickets are £12.50 for adults, a little less for kids and a lot less for really young kids. Book now to avoid missing out on the spectacle. Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November 2019. Gates open at 17.00 on Friday, 16.00 on Saturday. Fireworks start at 21.00 on Friday and 20.00 on the Saturday.
Hackney Fireworks Display
Returning to Clissold Park, this event is a great place to see Bonfire Night fireworks in London in 2019. Particularly if you’re up North and don’t fancy the big Ally Pally event. It’s ticketed, but good value for the amount of extra entertainment, food stalls and music they’re putting on. It’s a low-noise display (to protect the ears of the park’s animals) timed to music and is always pretty wittily synchronised. Saturday 2nd November 2019. Doors open at 17.00. Display starts at 19.30
Wild Wolf Fireworks and Bonfire, Bounds Green
This popular fireworks spectacular is run by a local scout group. There’ll be a collection of food stalls and plenty of marshmallows for toasting over the bonfire. And this family-friendly event features two separate fireworks displays: the later Feature Display and an earlier low-noise display designed for toddlers and those with sensory requirements. Beckenham Fireworks in the Park
Another Scout-run fireworks night event, this year’s Beckenham Fireworks in the Park looks set to be bigger than ever. The area’s main Bonfire Night event sees £10,000 of combustible rockets head up into the air to explode, soundtracked seamlessly by music. You get two shows for the price of one too: a quieter display for younger children starts at 18.00, while the main display ignites around 19.45. Expect to find plenty of rides and stalls for all the family. There are no presale tickets, so you have to grab them on the gate as you enter. They’re £10 for over 18s and a fiver for over 11s. Blackheath Fireworks
One of the biggest free events for Bonfire Night fireworks in London. There’ll be a funfair open from 12.00, with food stalls and bars opening at 17.00. The main event—a 15 minute fireworks display filling the South London sky—flares up at 20.00. Over 80,000 punters can’t be wrong. Saturday 2nd November 2019. Crystal Palace Fireworks Spectacular
In a park already known for its quirky monuments, grand scale and history, the organisers of this event have a lot to live up to. So they’re going all out with an evening of blockbusting proportions. The fireworks display features a laser accompaniment and a soundtrack of hits that’s fit to burst, and the bonfire—lighting up around 18.30—is one of the biggest in the capital. A number of separate entertainment areas will be packed full with DJs, bands and even some comedians. The Lords of Lightning will be there too, shooting bolts of white hot electricity at one another in a jaw-dropping performance. It’s pretty crazy stuff. Grab an Early Bird ticket for a tenner now. Wow. Bonfire Night fireworks in London that are actually taking place on the 5th November. And that’s not all this huge fireworks display has going for it. They’ve got a funfair, lots of family-friendly entertainment and loads of stuff to eat and drink. 30,000 people are expected at this year’s bash. Book your tickets now to make sure you’re among them. Wimbledon Park Fireworks
Two in a row. This popular fireworks event is taking place on the 5th November this year. And it’s set to be just as musically-minded as ever, with an early fireworks show (suitable for younger children) themed around The Greatest Showman, and a later one with the musical theme, Outer Space (in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landings). Newham Fireworks Night
See the Royal Docks’ skyline lit up at Newham Fireworks Night. Another evening that’s themed around the 50th anniversary of the first moon landings, the Newham fireworks will be shot into space, carefully choreographed to a playlist of intergalactic tunes. This year’s event isn’t just a great place to witness Bonfire Night fireworks in London, it also boasts a performance by the Lords of Lightning. This duo combine science and theatre in a stunning show which sees them shoot bolts of lightning at one another. Newham Fireworks Night is totally free to attend. Royal Gunpowder Mills, Waltham Cross
Is there any setting more fitting than a former gunpowder factory for Bonfire Night fireworks in London? From 2pm, this unique site will be open for a whole host of family-friendly entertainment, including a short theatre production about Guy Fawkes and interactive shows explaining the science of explosions. And there’ll be the chance to really get hands on with slime making and lantern making. Take in the archery display and enjoy refreshments at the Gunpowder Cafe before the big fireworks finale at 19.00. This event takes place on both the Saturday and Sunday before Bonfire Night. This free event is one of the last unticketed large-scale firework displays in the capital. And sitting pretty on Sunday night, it’s a great way to see out the weekend. Like a few other Bonfire Night fireworks in London, the Victoria Park show is themed around the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. Barnes Bonfire Night
One of the more traditional places to catch Bonfire Night fireworks in London, this event is held in support of Barnes Sports Club. There’ll be a roaring bonfire, a Best Guy competition, a BBQ, plenty of hot mulled wine and then an impressive fireworks display. Tickets cost £10. Saturday 9th November 2019. Opens at 17.30
Chiswick Park Fireworks
Chiswick Park is hosting a free fireworks display again in 2019. Run in collaboration with Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, the event will be raising money for this important charitable organisation, so be sure to bring some cash to make a donation. In addition to a whopping great big fireworks extravaganza at 19.00, some brave folk will be taking on a daring Fire Walk at 18.00. Yep, ordinary people will be taking a walk across embers reaching 650 degrees! You could be among them. No training is required, just a bit of courage and determination to raise money for a special charity. Thursday 7th November 2019. Held at Ealing Cricket Club, this evening of Bonfire Night celebrations raises money for the important local sports ground. This popular local event celebrates both Guy Fawkes Night and Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights. This popular West London event boasts two separate firework displays this year, with a children’s display taking off before the main event later in the evening. Wembley Park: Light Up the Night
This event offers something truly different, fusing together Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights and Bonfire Night to create a giant celebration along the Olympic Way, the avenue joining Wembley Park tube station with Wembley Stadium. The free event reflects the diverse and dynamic Wembley Park neighbourhood, and this year’s is set to the be the biggest yet. There’ll be a captivating parade of lanterns and giant illuminated butterflies, a huge mechanical Fire Bird and three ginormous specially-commissioned puppets designed by artist Tony Mason. There’ll be fabulous street food available at the Boxpark, a set of thrilling fairground rides for all the family and roaming street performers.
